Tried it out not too long ago. Seem to run fine. Very jittery with the derlin spherical but feels very precise.

Heres the modded DH hanger:

Just make sure they clear the inner race

or they'll foul as they (and the hanger) try to return  to centre.

Thanks will buy one up. Though I may also just get some super hard elims - they work very well in the DH hanger.

Cents, If you mean yo need to take out some of the centre of the bushing

to clear the innner race of the spherical, use a mounted grinding stone on your drill.

Wear ppe and use either angled or round stones to get the shape you need.

Craig I don't believe for a second you have any shortage of doobies.  Got time to meet up for a skate over the weekend? - I got a 4 day weekend to make use of.

Thanks for that Cas.

The Modded Randal DH hanger by Gibs came in today. Workmanship definitely isn't on par with the grennet. The spherical is simply JB welded into the hanger. I would take the whole rig out for a ride but the bushings I have won't fit. Anyone have any tips on the best way to shape a bushing into an elim style?

Mother's mag and aluminium polish.

I didn't get griffin grease which just seemed to be a kind if white lithium grease to me. Though I did regret not getting the derlin pivot cups should have done more research. Will be getting my randal with a spherical in the hanger will make sure to put up some pics.

I wish to sand the pivot on the bennet more as there is still a ridge of excess material down one side of it. Should I just use 600 grit and work my way up to 1000. What's a cheap end product that really give alum that chrome shine?

It seems gasolene and base oils have little effect on delrin, so vasoline and other petroleum greases should be okay to use. Cheap and easy to find locally.

You can also buy synthetic grease from bike shops which is probably what "Griffin Grease" would be. Cost a bit more though.
