But it comes down to what is avalable, so hard to get slalom gear.
They look cool:
the draw back with the radikal is you have to unwind the kingpin every time you have to take the hanger off, the kingpin is recommended to be loctited back in & the titanium kingpin is recommended to be changed every 12 months due to the flex in it, I found this one out as my kingpin snapped clean in the baseplate a few months ago mid run at top speed...scary shit to loose the whole hanger on the road...horses for courses though..everyone's decision is gonna be different...
Radikal are great. Once they're dialed in you may never adjust them again for GS and Hybrid.
You'll either have fun or get a major case of the shits dialing in. Wedges and deck bolts are often a challenge. Adjustable angle plates certainly make life alot simpler.
A Radikal Claw has the same geometry and is virtually identical to a GOG Classic. I doubt anybody could tell the difference riding them. The Radikals have a better axle design (less likely to snap), but if you use large centre-set wheels they can bite the baseplate - I've never had a problem running BigZigs with them though.
A GOG Foxy has the advantage of being able to change baseplate angles, which I would really like, as I like to use the same deck for every course, but change angles depending on the speed/tightness.
if you get GOG's you won't die wondering. Radicals are hard to work on. But I have lost to plenty of people on Trackers and Bennetts.
I've ridden a board with a claw, felt nice, but gogs felt better. Thats just my opinion though....should try em both.
Checking out some new trucks anyone ever used Radikal dragon claws or breath combo
