ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Every time I have found a longboard that I would be very happy with the price is way to high. Does anyone know any cheap places to get longboards? Like a factory outlet or something?

I am happy to get a used longboard.

Your best bet for cheaper boards is buying them second hand through ASRA.

Boardshop Australia.
Dave,

you said in a previous post that you only wanted to spend $100. That isn't likely to get you anything decent. There are cheap boards out there, but you get what you pay for. If you want something you'll enjoy riding save a little more and for around the $200 mark some real bargains come up on this site.

Cheers

oh damn i will hit them up

for cheap trucks can i reccomend hawai?
"cheap is no good,
good is no cheap."

Applies to everything from longboards to women

PULSE

105USD for a bamboo and fibreglass drop thru carver (similar to dervish!!)

cheers, Will
Hey got any shots of the fibreglass and bamboo one?
I can't find any on your Facebook page. They look awesome though!

a not bad idea would be to buy a the pulse drop through, and buy a truck package from that site, I know a guy who rides those trucks in melbourne and they dont suck that much, compareable to a force or randal truck in quality and ride

very cheap generic boards that break easily
A mate of mine got a board from there. He wishes he'd just shelled out the extra for something from the hop shop or boardshop.com. They aren't THAT bad but they still aren't great. If you want the trucks to actually do anything you have to at least change out the bushings with something decent.
is he serious :S

i swear he already made one of these posts and got the same answers.

basically you can get cheap $100 boards off ebay or you can get great $500 boards off hopkin or whoever or you can get whatever in between. and your best bet is secondhand. i swear you already asked but anyway there you go :)
