how tight do you have your trucks for - sliding, carving and bombing, and is there a tightness that does sorta all of them?

It is total personal preference, some ride it tight, some ride it loose.
Yes! , yes there is. It is exactly 1.435 turns past where the nut is level with the bolt. Try it, you will know what i'm sayin
ahah sorry, but i was just wondering because on my hustler, i got paris and they were pritty loose and i almost ate it from speedwobbles going not fast at all.

is it truck tightness or am i riding wrong?
Tighten it up, and it won't be as bad
i recon if you ride your trucks loose and learn to keep stable when going fast your balance and board control should be better but thats just me
you got wobbles on a hustler?
i own one. mine hammers.
buy some new venom bushings from hopkin, cylinder.
just tighten it enough for some reflex, but not so your on a board that is stiff as.
if i do, will i still be able to carve?

I run my bear 1040's with venoms loose as all the time for downhill. But one time they were a lil too loose and i ended up wobbling they whole way round a corner, like hoola hoop olympics wobbles, nearly ate shit but it made me a better skater.
i dont think its all about tightness, bushing duro plays a huge part aswell. but u shouldn't have flop (or much flop) in your trucks but you shouldn't be able to see ur bushings bulging
hope it helps
if you have to run your trucks literally floppy loose then its time to get softer bushings.
if you have to crank em down then it's time to get harder bushings

i ride loose trucks and soft bushings, makes everything that much more fun
loose trucks save lives.
if u learn to ride loose you win, coz when u tighten them up for speed runs it feels even more solid than you need!
You're hard merrick...

Loose or Tight.. A ride is a ride. But my trucks on the other hand i run loose these days. Double yellow Elims for everything.
