Did you sign timebooks at the end of each day? If so you have worked for that money and you are entitled to it. Dont just give up. If you worked at Subway to fund skate gear then surely your willing to fuck with Subway to fund skate gear. Get your money back.
The small claims court can sometimes be a cheap and relatively quick way of dealing with these disputes. Your opponent may not even bother to show up, which means you win by default.
I shoveled sawdust into 44 gallon drums then lugged the 44's 100m with no trolly for 5 bucks an hour with no face mask all saturday to buy my first freebord, the amount of blood/sawdust that came out of my nose and mouth after each shift was amazing, I would finish walk outside and get in the car home and just give my nose a small squeeze and let the blood and treated pine saw dust flow. Pretty sure thats bad for you as far as i know but ah well the 5 bucks an hour was all worth it in the end, i got myself a freebord and quit the day after i ordered it
I did the same and made sure that every tie I got tuckshop money I had a little bit left over.
In the end In about two terms I had enough for a set of super swiss 6
