I'm not an expert on trucks, but I do know some brands, such as: Aera, Munkae, SurfRodz and I think Bears.
That's all I know.
lets not forget GOG and Radikal and brands like that
Do some research...there loads of em out there these days. someone on here telling you this brand or that brand are good wont mean shit. But i do love my kahas :-P next in line would be a set of ronins or gog trucks if any

GOGS are pretty sick.
i would go with 175mm 49* munkaes or 184mm kahas or 4040 174mm ronins
that is such a broad question no can say that there is one that is best. What is your style of riding. Ronnins have killer lean. area are one of the most versatile trucks out. magnuns are meta expensive and are mega stable so are kahalani. buzzed are also all rounders and at a very good price. it depends on budget and what is ur riding style.
My list would go,
No. 1: Aera
No. 2: Kaha
No. 3: Munkae
No. 4: Ronin
Those are the known and proven brands, but hey, people race on Paris trucks...
All precision trucks on the market, except SurfRods, are made for downhill. Research, try some out, look on silverfish.
skittles i just want to make comment on the surfrods thing, while they are designed to be a good for everything truck they do go very well for downhill when set up right, I have taken mine 80kph+ on my buttboard and my evo and they felt great.
