I suppose I'm new to Longboarding, been riding for a few months. Ive been riding a Never Summer swift, as fun as it is, I am looking at getting a stiffer board so I can learn sliding and get better at downhill. My board currently is really hard to slide (I can slide my friends boards fine), so yea.
So far I'm looking at The Bomb and Omni. Ive looked at every forum here, its hard to compare. Basically do either recieve bad wheel bite or railbite, and which one is lighter as well. Any information you can give would be great.
P.S. I'm not after buying a second hand board, I wont have the money for at least 3 weeks.

i would advise you to save you dosh and buy a second hand dh board, cost you no more and you'll get much more enjoyment out of it, then when you decide to try somthing else, it'll still be worth somthing...
i would look at the sector 9 bullet over either of those man, omni isnt great, the early isnt great, everyone seems to love the s9 though
you do know neither of those boards are a top mount the bullet is a flush, its not quite a top mount, (being flush) its half way between a drop and a top mount.

Also I'm looking for a Top Mount not a drop through, if i want a Drop Through I would get a Kracked Skulls board, which is my second option.

Where would I get the Sector 9 bullet cheap?

Whatever, I really don't care. I'm looking for a good downhill board, I dont wanna spend more than $250, Omni and Early both sell boards that I'm after for this price, I want to know which one is better quality. If anyone has ridden them please tell me. I'm not after other boards, I just want to know which one is better for my money, which one people find more fun, and what problems people have had with them.

Bomb is rad. I haven't had any problems with mine. No rail bite no nothing.
the early has concave wheras the omni does not.
the early is of much better build quality...
go with the s9 bullet!
heaps better than both of them
