Hello,
My name is Lachlan and I am new to ASRA and longboarding. I am from the Gold Coast and am 16.
I have always liked skateboarding but my friend had a longboard ( Sector 9 mini costa) and I had heaps of fun on it. So I went out and got one, I had been having loads of fun on it, until a few days ago it got ran over by a car. So I have been looking for a better longboard, I was looking at getting an Apex 34 however I don't want to spend so much on shipping to get it over here and also don't want to wait for 2 months.
I like to do slides and mainly skate on roads, and also doing/ learning tricks.
So I was asking you guys what you think would be a good board for someone like me?
I am(172cm)
And weigh 65kg if that helps.
Thanks and also I look forward to meeting you all :)
buy a helmet first! :P
then get yourself a daddow praxis,
Hi,
I had a look through it however I'm not interested in doing down hill and more tricks, so I thought I would use a different board?

Thanks,
But I was hoping to keep under $300 or maybe just a bit more.

many people are going to disagree here (because all they care about is racing ;-) ), but a Loaded Tan Tien with yellow Stims would fit the bill. A very fun board, good for tricks and slides, but not so good for speed. I guess the Vendetta would be a good one too, I don't know how the flex compares between the two (considering your weight). I have a Landyatchz 9two5 and really like it to slide (well, I'm learning), but I reckon it would be to bulky and heavy if you want to do a lot of tricks. No experience with Original, but I have heard some much bad reviews on their trucks it does not make me want to try...
That board looks amazing haha.
I was just thinking that a longer board like 42" would quite hard to tricks on. But watching that video makes it look easy haha.
Do you if it's a good board for teenagers to do tricks on?

Never mind, that was a USA website not Australian.
If you head to your local skateshop: Concrete Lines
They should be able to hook you up with that perfect board.
Great guys there, they'll have you shreddin' in no-time.
Thanks :)
