LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Golf sorry for your misfortune mate but that is so fark'n funny!!! and you had the world's best grip job on it too. The problem with the area around the Circular Quay is that its a deep water harbour meaning its around 50m deep. Not even someone with scuba gear could get that deep you would need a full pressure suit to go down that far

Ok, I guess I have to say good bye to my dervish. At least, I left something behind for this country. It could be some great history in the future after they found my dervish as fossil.

Mate, if your board goes in the drink you don't stop and look at it sink. YOU DIVE THE FUCK IN AFTER IT!
I jumped in fully clothed and managed to catch it halfway down, had I jumped any later it would still be down there.

what side of the opera house? it's probably shallower on the botanical garden side. you might have a chance at finding it with snorkel & mask. borrow some freedive fins and you can get deep easy, just have a mate watch out in case you black out ;-)

or get some rope with a small anchor (the grappling hook looking ones) and drag it around the bottom near where you dropped it. It would probably hook onto the trucks. When you feel a bit of resistance, pull the rope back up and you might have your board back (or some sea weed, an old tyre, maybe a boot etc)
