im a beginner longboarder, i have a skateboard and love riding it but i want more control and want to go faster, i dont know what longboard to get, ive been looking at original apex 34, original pintail 43 but im not sure?

any advice on what to get?

get an earthwing supermodel or a landyachtz 9two5 or something like that, they are good all round boards

theyre the sorta board u outgrow, they arent that good

dont start on original if you wanna go fast . buy a nice all rounder , 9 two 5 is perfect .

you want to make sure you get something with zero flex, if it's going to be your first board dont bother going too expensive, take a look at the sector 9 DH division boards, and buy from hopkin's or creative, free postage and great prices! just click on one of the links to the right of the page --->
what about for freeride and some carving?

steve daddow makes some good boards, his drop through board is a good all round board, fast bombing and freeriding depending on how you set it up. my mate Phil has one of these and is very happy with it; http://www.hopkin.com.au/glyde-praxis.html, it will be more durable then a mass made board like the Raynes. Give hopkin a ring and ask for Robbo, he'll give you the advice you need.
