ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Just say someone was selling something like a set of leathers. Advertised them as "They are in grade condition and have been crashed in twice, have a few scratches but zero holes."

You purchase the leathers. You realise there is a broken zipper, a multitude of holes and looks as though they have been crashed in a shit load of times. You contact the person you buy them from and they reply with something along the lines of tape it up and it’s not a fashion parade and refuses to take the leathers back.

What would you do in this situation?

Dunno how to help then. With Paypal, you can open a dispute with the seller and send paypal proofs (emails, photos) of item not as described. They would settle it for you.
i bought it over asra, thinking people here would be honest, considering the people that use this site are the people they skate with... not buying again unless i have actually seen the item.
name and shame
contact fair trade.
tell them what you told us.
Name and shame! Thats not acceptable at all especially from an ASRA member...
just expose the mofo and let everyone here in this community know who ripped you off, make them come out of their hole and face the music. thats what i would do

so far dealing skate gear on ASRA has a good record of safe and honest transactions, its sad to think that theres people out there selling stuff and ripping dudes off, it will make people think twice about it next time.

so yeah whoever sold you something dodgy should be known to the public so people dont make the same mistake you did
Ryan Pugh?
yea it was ryan pugh
step on his knee caps quick sticks
Ahh, no Merrick....
one step too far, public humiliation should be enough for him to realize he's done something wrong and therefor reimburse you Michael...
best of luck!
