Iam looking for a wheel that slides fairly smoothly but wont get too drifty if i go round a corner at speed. I'm kinda thinking about getting the purple in heats. if anybody has any opinions about them or any other wheels you would recommend that would be great, thanks.

orange in heats. Great allround wheels. grip when you want grip, and slide when you want to slide.
lipped S9 RF?

yeh that is a problem. But your gonna have to face it. Big Zigs are grippy, but IMO the slide is not as smooth. Durians are a bit too drifty, and Inheats are allround great. I dunno about Hawgs or anything, but try as many different wheels as possible.

For abit more sliding then the in heats i would highly sugest the otang durains.
Lemon BigZigs. Clean slide and good grip.

i rekon u should grab some 83a durians
powerballs or Freebord Slashers, Both will drift at speed but its a very smooth and controlable drift and you can slide them well
Why didn't you like the strikers?

Honestly there are heaps better wheels then strikers, they only become fun when fully worn in. and even then arnt the greatest wheel.
