ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Hey guys,

i cant decide which one to go for.

Charly No limit, Icaro 4flight cut, Predator DH-6

They all seem roughly around the same price and at the same standard.

i am wondering which one i would be better to buy. Like safety, comfort while riding etc

thanks

Yeah your not looking at 661, But it's a good comparison. There are millions of things you could fine on Silverfish about Icaro's Vs. Charly's Vs. Predator. I would go for the Charly No Limit, but yeah like Kelly said, you probably don't need one so get a Motorcross/Mountain bike full face as your first one.

A Motorcross helmet.
if you got the money a top quality helmet is the smartest thing to spend it on, clearly his head is worth enough to him to want to go and spend the money.
Predator is alot safer..

lol, it doesnt keep him safe while he doesnt have it though, how long has the predator wait been so far for people?

send him a link to the helmets that were similar to your first full face steve. at least they are super light, and small.

A mountain bike helmet is a lot more durable than a flight helmet and will withstand grom abuse so much better.

I would recommend a Bell Drop. By far one of the safest toughest and most suitable helmets you can get. Charly and Icaro are glider hats, designed to keep your head warm, and make you look cool in photos.

I have a charly at the moment, but have put my order in for one of the next batch of predators. have wanted a predator since i tried one at bathurst, super nice fit and feel sturdier that the charly. out of your choices, i vote predator.

though i would agree with the others if its your first full face, there is no need to spend the money on a fancy lid, keep your cash for more wheels to thrash and get yourself a 661mtb helmet or the like.

Ash would you be looking to sell your charly by any chance?
nah mate, im keeping it. Its not exactly the nicest example anymore!
sean, fanciest and schmickest looking helmet is not neccessarily the safest/best for safety.
