195mm Prandals!

I am looking to combine the Paris 195mm hanger with the Randal 42 degree baseplate to form the ULTIMATE CAST DOWNHILL TRUCK!!!! I still haven't bought either so i would like some feedback before buying. It will be used as a allround freeriding and downhill truck, with hopefully speeds over 85 and everything below.

Has anyone ridden Prandals before, if so wat did YOU think of them???
Pros and Cons

Grippy?
Stable?
Twitchy?
Bushing Problems?
High?
Heavy?
Etc.?

ANY feedback and advice is appreciated

no parandals are not just like randals at all, they are just like paris trucks. its the same hanger, same degree baseplate but with a different logo on it.
Frankly i dont see the point in putting paris hanger in a 50* randal truck... you still have a paris truck.
Now putting a 195 hanger into a 42 degree baseplate is a good idea, however you just end up with a 42 degree paris truck thats just a wee bit lower, not a 'parandal'...

haha I have been thinking about it since the 195mm came out. Will I see them in action at Hill Climb Nick?

I heard there was a problem with the large Paris bushing seat on Randal baseplates? Could have been a conspirasy

Yeah I love the feel of Paris but 50 degree baseplate might not be too reliable at speed....

thats why you do it, you can get your angles right with randal plates and use the nice hangers which you get from paris

Um not too sure if you are understanding Jacko....
The idea IS to put the 195 hanger into a 42 degree baseplate
Would be a tiny bit lighter too wouldn't it?

even if it was lighter, it'd be such a minute difference that you wouldn't feel it at all.

prandals are just for ppl who like the way paris bushing seat feels, but want them on some other angle than 50. so if you have ridden paris a good bit and like how they feel then you'll probably like prandals cause theyre the same, just different baseplate angles. It's like the same thing as asking if you'll like 42 randals when you've already ridden 50 randals alot.

and btw the ultimate cast dh truck are crails, but that's just me :)

i ride 180mm prandals at the moment, its not bad, not the worlds greatest truck, but somewhere up near the top
-not as grippy as a 50/30, but its still kinda sticky on my top-mount
-as stable as your feet are
-twitchy?
-no problems with my bushings as of yet, and they have been in there for a while
-low for cast trucks
-lighter then precision's

195's will be exactly the same u will just get less leverage, therefore more stability

Na, the ultimate cast trucks are Randal Comps in 170, 185 and 205 with baseplates built to suit from 25 to 60 degrees!!!!!!!!

i think he means ultimate cast truck that is fixed axle as opposed to comp's which are apparently the shit, Do their hangers work with reglar randal plate's ado? me thinks a set of hangers might be in order
