Get to Queensland!!!
This Event will be 8 man heats with some tight racing.. The hill is not fast, but may need to grab rail around a few corners. It will be shoulder to shoulder and heal to toe racing... A great chance to get the heart pumping and get close to other racers while feeling safe and still getting that fast sensation !!!! So get Tuck on and take yours best lines !!!
The road is a closed road to cars but there are still the odd walker or bike rider and maybe even a dog or two. So we have to keep in our lanes around a few corners which we will mark.
SAFETY GEAR - Leathers or Knee pads, Helmet ( full face if possible), Gloves
Food/Drinks - Bring your own... We will have a bunch of drinks...
Registration - will be $15 - $20 . We are looking at getting a mini bus and driver, so funds will go to that and then to the Winners.... If anyone has a bus and want to drive smelly skaters around then give me a buzz. Its a 3 km walk back up.
Time - 9:00 am or get there early and go freeride
Race - 8 man heats. Racing all day> Groms will race with the opens and at the end, the final 8 with the most points will race in the open and grom final's... And we will have a few chinese downhill races at the end. Races must stay in their tuck through the finish line. Your front wheels will count not your hand...
Prizes - There will be prises.
Accomadation - We will be camping or getting a place on Saturday night !!
Transport - Just ask around if you need to get there and want to camp, and a mini bus or something on the day.
Update - will update as we know more. Just getting u ready
