I guess it’s times like these – when the reality checks kick in and the wake up calls come flooding – that true colours shine through and we find strength in our fellow comrades. This is particularly true for skateboarders who have a special bond. Locally, nationally and globally we share an alliance, like one big family, with an inherent compulsion and common responsibility to look after one another. We always have each others’ backs; that’s the law of the land you roll on.
