Event Description

The Padova Grand Prix course features a long, fast straightaway at the top and a highly technical bottom section. In 2009, the races were broadcast live on a giant screen at the finish. The organizers and the city of Teolo spoiled the riders with huge parties and feasts of incredible Italian food and drink. For 2010 the organizers are planning even bigger things. Martin Siegrist is the defending Downhill Skateboarding Champion and he would love to make it two in a row.

Premium Member Comment by leeso on December 24, 2009 at 15:01: thats not what everyone was saying last year when we were havin mass food fights and having to wait to 11pm to eat...sure the track is fun with a crew of guys but if you make one small scrub out you have to push to get back up to speed..plus having the give way to a swarm of rollerbladers and a natzi on the start line..ill be there for sure though maybey we can get busted by the same local cops 2 years in a row :)

Premium Member Comment by Jacko on December 24, 2009 at 14:52: sure its a gay track but when you think about it its a real test of all your skills, your tuck at the top, railling into that first section then taking perfect lines through the rest of the corners to stay in the game. if you got a shit push your gonna have shit luck too! i think this course is a great course for the IGSA tour and the town is beautiful, such a rad event and the whole vibe there is epic
