The organisation of the Juniors will be sorted out soon. Both sides of the mountain are gnar, but the other side has a lot more issues with residents and is harder to get permission to close to traffic.

Skyline Slalom

Hey folks,

We are happy to announce there will be slalom at Newton's Playground this year. While there is no Giant Slalom down Conrod straight, we will be having a head-to-head contest on Skyline again this year. It will probably be held on Saturday 28 November, with finals either on the same day or on the Sunday.

Final format hasn't yet been established, but it will be a relatively casual race. Start ramps, cones and timing system will be provided but ASRA officials will have their hands full with the downhill and probably take a relatively hands-off approach to the slalom. We would therefore be very appreciative of anyone stepping up to take responsibility for running the slalom race.

$20 entry fee. This goes to ASRA's overall costs paying for the campground and other costs associated with Newton's Playground.

Please contact me if you are interested in helping organise the slalom race.

Cheers
Haggy
