Not to worry Dave. We'll try to get a few more sessions in the drain over new year.
Might try to get a carpark sesh going 1 night soon in Gosford too.
Stay tuned.

Total suck. It seems I've triple booked myself and ditch race loses out to some higher priorities. Next time...
Have a rad day.

Hey Dave, the 36'' would be the go. Freerides would be good too.
You can ride nearly any board in that drain, so bring a few to experiment with
or just try a few other peoples setups. I'll have about 4 or 5 boards with me so feel free to try a few. The different events in the drain will reqire a few different board lengths & wheel types to work the best.
A longer WB is best for speed & stability while still keeping it carvable.
Freeride type boards seem to work best for this. Top or drop mount.
A short WB & a 90-95a, 65mm wheel would be good for the wallride jam &
the slide sesh on the steep side of the drain.
See you there mate.

Ian.
Hope you had an epic time at Newtons. Too good eh.
Yeah man bring the bungee. Lets see if it's works in there.

The whole CCG !!! Excellent. The NACCOS Elders are very eager to meet them.

Peace & Skateboarding too all.

Hey people, this would be first time hitting a ditch. I'm looking at using a street deck set up with normal shortboard trucks, fat risers and 81a retro freerides or a 36" kicktail with randall-clone trucks. Any advice on which is likely to work better for ditch bashing?
