Event Description

NACCOS crew would like to invite you to an end of year skate,
to wind down after Newtons.
Research shows hanging out & skating in a drain is 1 of the best known remedies for 'PND'. (Post Newtons Depression)

We'll try to get some prizes & trophys happening for each event. (No Promises)

Proposed Events.

1. Drain Race. - Timed Runs (no cones)
Fastest line = Fastest time.

2. Style Jam.
Show us ya Steez.
Judged on Originality & Flow.

3. Dark Side of the Drain Challenge.
Slide to survive on the steep side, with the concrete headwall at the end.

4. Wall Ride Comp.- (To be confirmed)
We still need to build an extension section for this.

HELMET & GLOVES REQUIRED.
Pads if your smart.

ASRA Admin Comment by Bugs on December 10, 2010 at 17:01: If anybody's considering coming, but isn't sure, this is the funnest skate spot there is, and the Best Ditch in Australia. It's equal parts downhill, slalom and bowl skating and kinda unique.

Drain has been cleaned today by the NACCOS Drain Service.

Wall ride is framed up & checked for fit to drain.

Fitz. Keen to bring the 5 ft' ramp.
Should be right with the trailer, thanks for the offer.
I live 45 mins north of the drain, so it would be alot extra for you.
Bungee in the drain should be interesting too.
