One more reminder - we will be starting on time. Be nice and early.

Bring food and water and sunscreen. It'll be a long, hot day in a isolated place.

See ya'll there!

bottom line is, billy carts are gay, no one cares if they are recognised or not as a propper gravity discipline... just go away

Organizing a race for my birthday?? AWESOME! You guys are too sweet. Who's sending the plane ticket so I can get there on time and kick some asses?

150 Billycarts at Bathurst in August 08 over 2 days says your bulk may have been reduced.Good luck with MOTH on Saturday . Your description of oversized heavy SKATEcars ploughing into crowds sounds pretty right but there were also SKATEboard LUGE catastrophies that combined to stuff it up .
The difference ,and this is just for information, between what you blokes think are billycarts still exist, but now the high end billycarts are build with more technology, more safety equipment, better tyres/wheels/axles/brakes ,steering and balance and as I suggested in earlier posts are able to race fast and safe and spectacularly. This is not about running in your event but about recognition of billycarts as a legitimate gravity discipline that has infact been around in various forms before skateboards, luge and before I and all of you were born,

From the June Dally Watkins School of Outlaw Etiquette...

The Pump Station is a special place, and we're only able to skate there because the locals have come to know us as friendly people who leave the place spotless and cause no offence. If one of the locals gets pissed off with us, it could mean the end of skating at Pump Station.

So I'd like to ask everybody to take extra care on the weekend to maintain our good reputation with the locals by looking after the place and generally being Low Impact and Low Profile.

In particular:

* Parking 1 - Please don't park in front of the boom gate. Fire trucks, lawn-mowing vans, and other people with keys to that gate occasionally need to get through.

* Parking 2 - Please don't park in people's driveways or in any way that makes it hard for residents. This may mean that you end up parking a couple of hundred metres away, but so be it.

* Rubbish - Please take it all away with you when you leave.

Thank you on behalf of the "Good Relations with the Locals Department".
