Double-header slalom/ditch action in Canberra:
Saturday - head-to-head slalom at Stromlo.
Sunday - ditch race at Ainslie.
Accommodation Options
1. Statesman (Skatesman Hotel) Curtin (near Stromlo)- www.statesman.com.au (this is also where we have booked seats and space for counter meals, presentations etc on Saturday night)

yeah man I got a yard but no tent pitching allowed, just joking you can sleep inside like the rest of us and don't worry I shake the house with my snoring

Dates are unfortunately not yet set. In all likelihood the date will be moved back two weeks. We are unable to run the event with the MTB Championships due to space constraints... Stay posted, we will let you know as soon as we can.
Apologies to those who have already sprung for flights/accommodation.

Maybe after 3yrs they might let us book up big including some function area at the Sk8'sman Hotel.

They are expecting over 30,000 visitors in Canberra for the Stromlo MTB event.
Last year there were hardly any rooms left when the Flora festival was on. Booking accomodation as early as possible might be a wise move.

this could be a bit gnarly then... we might have the best skaters in OZ out of the country and missing out on two main events for the conehead cup...

I didn't realise there was a clash. The dates were chosen to coincide with the world mountain bike championships at Stromlo that weekend. Not definite yet.
