ASRA Admin Comment by Bugs on January 7, 2011 at 20:58: I'll be interested to see how using transponders for timing works out. I've thought about using them but have been wary because unless you enforce one-by-one qualifying runs, people will use drafting to get faster times. Friends can use draft-trains and take turns to give each other a push to enable faster times. Might make qualifying a bit like a team sport.

Comment by riffraff on January 7, 2011 at 17:09: 15 to 17 year old standup riders racing at 'Bomb the Snowies' is going to be capped at a maximum of 32 riders registering and because of the gnarliness of the hill, professional senior riders from your discipline will be picking which 32 riders are experienced enough to ride. Only the riders picked by the pro riders will be invited to register and ride. You must be 15 years or older on the 19th of March 2011 to apply. Do not apply if you are under 15. 15-17 year old riders in the other disciplines will be capped at 8 in each discipline.
