"Mobile phones and driving
It is illegal to drive or ride a vehicle while using a hand-held mobile phone. The penalty is a significant fine and three demerit points.
This means that talking, sending or receiving text messages, playing games or taking photos are illegal when using a hand-held phone. It is also illegal to perform these activities when your vehicle is stopped but not parked, for example when you are waiting at traffic lights."

see how many comments we can get up about how its illegal to take photos while driving and how running the pics of her braking the law but not yelling at her is a bitch move.
p.s they probably paid good money for the pics, so take scetchy pics of skaters miss quote the spot then get money for the shots.

yeah i have a copy of the paper and the cover has the headline 'High-speed Jackasses' and shows an image of a skater doing an ollie... WTF! Kind of sad how uninformed people have the power to voice their opinions so loudly. The editorial dedicates more space to the moral outrage of people skating on such treacherous roads trying (unsuccessfully apparently) to kill themselves, before briefly mentioning we should donate to samoa. Surely that is a more pressing cause worthy of the column space?

hey, posted that from phone on Friday, and just checked link and looks like they edited the original story to remove the fact that Jenny was the "driver" or is my memory a bit fuzzy? Does anyone remember? ...or if you browsed it on your home computer, disconnect from the net and go through your history to check original article. Take a screen shot and post it here... might be worth sending to Media Watch as the Mercury is their little bunny ,)

i already emailed media watch and i have a hard copy of the paper and it hasn't been changed. still the photos are taken from pretty much in line with the centre line on the road, meaning it's from the drivers seat or if its the passenger she is in fact driving on the wrong side of the road going into a blind corner
