ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

This week is going to be huge up here. So far the new Raynes are in and we have Avengers, Nemesi, Demonseeds and Kill Switches ready to go. Later in the week (hopefully tomorrow) the new Landy's will be in including Carbon Fibre Evo's and Drop Speed. All the new Hawgs will be here too. Also massive new shipment of Reflex Bushings (over 300 barrels will be in stock across the duro range). Retro wheels will be topped up and so will the Orangutangs.

Drop me a line if you are after something special and I'll put your name on it.

Cheers

Hi Ado,
I took an RDO today, your speedy delivery service made it all worth while.
Thanks,
Wayne.

(now mmm, clean house or play with bushings?)
g'day man, still got any of those landy dh boards? would be interested...

Been looking at some of the stuff I've got sitting around and came across 3 Landy DH Race decks. If anyone wants a super cheap downhill machine I'll let these go for $200 each delivered. Although I guess that means you could get one from Tony for $180 (if he can do it).

Cheers

the classic freerides will be sick- i've got a set of the 86a freerides (they were a gift) and i've gotta say i was pretty underwhelmed by them.....

it should have been really obvious: reflex thane + deep thane depth+ decent contact patch= grip.

In 80a they'd be perfect for the runs where you wanted to pendy to keep your speed down but still wanted the grip for corners etc...

Other than that my mind is still stuck in WTF land.... As for the classic 'rides...bring them on! classic thane is WAY more drifty and they will be a hell of a lot of fun.

or in other words: they will be harder powerballs (which are pretty damn underrated.)
double post: sorry...sorry...just saw this.

you know what i mean ado....hahaha...
yeah 200 for a DH race is a great deal.
wish I had the funds.
One of your fave decks right Ben?
ben, the retro freerides are pretty grippy and chattery at first but once you wear them down abit then they are ridiculously drifty... gilbert has his lime freerides down to about 65mm and they slide out so easily and quietly its ridiculous. That being said, i still dont think a 'freeride' wheel should have to be worn down that much to start to perform properly
Wayne,

dust doesn't settle in moving air streams, therefore it doesn't settle where you walk/live/move about, therefore it only settles where you aren't, therefore you can't see it unless you go looking, therefore don't go looking and it isn't an issue, therefore .... play with bushings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This friendly advice was brought to you by the letters A, D, and O

hey ado, which version of the asym did you have coming in? the blue ones or the newer ones? and do you have any landy dropspeeds with the snake graphic?
Ado i was also wondering if you had replacement kingpins for my randals in 2.75" or 3" lengths?
Thanks

I do. I buy them from Boltmasters and they are grade 5 (haven't come across anyone breaking one yet, so they are cheaper than a grade 8). If you have a decent bolt shop close by that is a much cheaper than having me send you a couple, but I can if you need me to.

Cheers

So far as I know the Asyms will be the latest ones as they have only just been built. Sorry all the snake drop speeds are long gone, do have a carbon one though (;-)>
