Need some honest opinions

Hey all, I've been looking at getting a Roger Brothers ASYM downhill board. Word on the street is they're pretty gnarly and I'm goofy so it works out ok.
Just wanted to hear if anyone has ridden one or heard what its like and all that jazz.

I'll add a picture and the details of the wheeled wood.

Thickness: 10 plys
Length: 41.0" / 104,1 cm
Width: 9,5" / 24,1 cm
Weight: 6,2 lbs / 2,82 kg
Inner hole wheelbase(s): 32.25"-33.06" / 76,4-82,6 cm
Lasercut grip tape: 46 grit or 36 grit (gnarly)
Truck mounting pattern: Both old and new school.
Color(s): Blue
Options: Regular or Goofy

Never seen em before but judging by the spec's it looks the goods. Looks like the pan drops into a tub of concave.
Why're they calling asymetrical though. I can't see any difference in profile from left to right. Its a lefthanded screwdriver to me.
Am i missing something here.

Seems you have made your choice dude. Obviousley done some researching, you have had some good reviews on them, they look good. Buy it man and give us your own review when you have ridden it for a month or so.

Hmm, I agree with Fitz and Dani.
Asymmetric concave sounds interesting - maybe a great idea? Buy it and find out!

You have seen one, you just never knew you were looking at one.
I was watching Jacko's peyragudes footage today and trying to work out what deck Louis skates. It is one of these. Makes sense, he is goofy.
Goofiness is in the concave
It is symmetrical and asymmetrical all in one. Think Escher.

Ahaaa!!! I knew all this :) thanks hop for confirming mate. The board has more of a concave for goofy riders toeside to give more leverage on the turn. I was really hoping someone had ridden it before me that's part of asra, no luck yet I spose... Looks like I'm the test crash guy, I could be a happy one.

yeah this is the board that Louis rides, and in my opinion its one of the best DH boards... it suits all the right needs for a downhill rider. The slight drop locks you into the concave and it is the most functional shape for railing corners and isnt heavy like a tank so sliding it is a peice of piss. Also a the shape is great for freeriding.
If Rayne made this shape, i would sell all my other boards and ride this one... might have to throw some designs down for em...

whats the main diff between a goofy deck and a regular deck????

they decks have more concave on the toeside rail, so for regular riders the right hand rail of the board will have a steeper concave 'pocket' for the front foot and for goofy riders the left hand rail will have more concave

I think its brilliant,... but I didnt get why it was asymetrical.
Now I know. Thats pretty damn cool.

Aj,... Id say Jacko has just given this board a glowing recommendation.

Good that its under 42 inches too, if you are ordering from the states.
