ok i have cut the shape that i want out of the tyre and im in a bit of a mix there is a layer of wire in between the rubber i dint know if i cut that out and how or if i just glue it on like it is...thanks heaps every1.!!!

You don't want the wire, you need to try to cut just above the wire but that's best done from the start
got any tips on how to cut just above the wire because i have the exact same problem

The other piece of advice I'd offer is not to cut it to shape until after you've glued it to your shoe. This way you can get a very neat job.
when u say de laminate the tyre, do u mean like cutting it on the sides the entire length around the tyre and then pulling the layer off the metal?

You should be able to de laminate the tyre, once you have cut out the piece you want, with pliers a vice and some brute strength. The wire is normally contained in the cross ply section and comes off in diagonal strips.
ok if i dont want the wire how do i get rid of it
