So today I got my new board. When assembling it I tightened one of the bolts down slightly too much. Can this damage the board over time? Do I need to do anything about it? Just don't want the board cracking over time thats all.

Cheers, Jake

Relax!

Everything is going to be alright, just loosen off the nut slightly and go skate, the board will be fine ( :

Thanks dude

But if it's a foam-core board instead of a wood board, then you really do have to be careful not to overtighten deck bolts.

It's a FP NSF, don't worry about it dude, 's all good.
