Overtightened bolts

So today I got my new board. When assembling it I tightened one of the bolts down slightly too much. Can this damage the board over time? Do I need to do anything about it? Just don't want the board…Click here for the full story

"But if it's a foam-core board instead of a wood board, then you really do have to be careful not to overtighten deck bolts."
