Serious glove problem

OK so if youve seen my otherpost 'Why to wear your helmet' you may have seen this photothis happened because my slide gloves are home made (gardening gloves with thick plastic chopping board pucks) so when i stacked it last weekend in bello my glove ripped off and as you can see my arm was caught underneath me (hectic gravel rash on my arm and left side). Now i want to invest in some proper slide gloves particularly interested in either the loaded race gloves or the lush race gloves. Does anyone own a pair and can give me some feed back on these gloves mainly for the nuckle protection and sweet looks :)

i have the landyachtz ones, and i would really reccomend them, the leather is really strong and long lasting

Ive got loaded freeride and they are the most comfortable and well designed in my opionion
but i think the race gloves would be best becase of the nuckle protection on them

Wow. Bad advice Imo.

 

Landyachtz are the worst for freeriding. They are just a leather glove.

I have loaded freeride and they get shredded also. Not leather, and the fabric tears.

 

Loaded race are allright, i would recommend lush race. Cheaper, and look well made.

got some lush race gloves and the protection is epic! had a bail last week and took a fair chunk out of the knuckle protection and not a scratch to my hands. not great for free ride cos they dont breath that well but i m still finding em better than my loaded race gloves.

i have landyachtz gloves, and i'd say they're great for freeriding and pretty much everything, just because they dont have finger pucks doesnt mean they can't be used for freeride.

Agree fully with Gus. Jack, they are good for dh but and I use them for free ride as well and they are good

loaded ones have heaps good knuckle but snell like crap after a while haha

I have the loaded downhill leather race gloves and would be the best in your case due to the extra carbon fibre protection around the knuckles and fingures.

I was doing a squat slide with one hand holding the board on my heel side and board spun out from under me so i ended up sliding with my hand under me for a while similar to your spill.The plastic was a little scratched on the gloves but my hands were fine. I would reccomend them.. good pucks as well and will save your hands every time.

I have both the landyachtz and lush gloves. My landy gloves started getting a hole in like the webbing inbetween my thumb and index finger in the first 2 days. Other then that they are extremely comfortable. My lush gloves are just sitting at home doing nothing at the moment but the landy gloves have a fucking huge hole in them now. + I don't like how the lush gloves come up so far on your wrist.
