ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Due to popular demand, the marketplace forum has been replaced with a new marketplace that is not a forum but a purpose-built place for buying and selling.

The old marketplace forum is still there, and people can still respond to the old discussions there, but new ads should be placed on the new marketplace

There's a "Marketplace" link in the horizontal menu at the top of the page, and a box in the right-most column showing the last 10 ads.

The new marketplace has a few bugs, but we hope to iron them out over the coming weeks. Let us know what you think.

I urge you all to have your say on the new marketplace by clicking on this link and following the important safety instructions:

New Marketplace Survey

Ive managed to get the new marketplace to work on IE9. Click on tools in the menu bar. Select compatability view settings and add asra in the add this website box, click ok.

Nice work Steve!
I cannot get anything still, I have waited for it to load but get nothing?? What do I have to do to get to see something that is for sale??

What browser are you using and what version of that browser?

If using IE are you running it in compatibility mode?

What operating system are you using and what version of that operating system?

Do you have java enabled and is it the latest version?

Do you have flash enabled and is it the latest version?

Do you have any browser Add-ons that block java or flash ads from websites?

Probs for me:

-Won't send an email to the seller.. hit send and it just hangs.  I always have to pm

-Back button doesn't work.  ie if i scroll through a few pages i have to go back to the start or it wont display anything.

Using XP, firefox, java & flash are recent.

For what its worth i liked old Marketplace, it worked well and despite everyone elses bitching about clutter i found the posts entertaining.  No disrespect to those putting in the effort to run this superb site.

try using google chrome. at school the marketplace works on google chrome but no IE9 and firefox. at home it works on all three. check if there is something stopping the updating of your java or flash applications as that is what happened to me

hope this helps

im trying to write a description and it won't let me type after about 10 line, i made the box bigger but won't let me type, anyone else had this problem?
Tried using both IE9 and google chrome to put out an add, look at these and tried them, and i haven't got a confirmation email for it....
conrad there is a limited size to the description for everyone, I had to take out some unnecessary crap in my ad. if you are advertising a few things at once you might have to do separate ads
Hey just to let you guys know Bugs and whoever else who did it.
Emails send like instantly now, stoked. Thanks guys!
Hey do the new ad's require approval before they come up?
Because I just posted one and it even said 'Ad posted with these details...' and went on with my ad.
Cheers
