I've let Hop know about this and he should fix you up.
Seven bearings? Is this why they call them abec7 :-)

I thought something was not right when I shipped them, it was the last packet in the box. New biltins arrived yesterday. So I'll ship out a fresh set on Monday, plus a mystery lucky dip from hop's box of excess skate proddy.
Cheers Hop, legend! ive been running them with 3 wheels with awesome new smooth bearings, and one wheel with the best of my old bearings i could find (which arent great :D )

Got out and got some testing of the new setup yesterday and it was sweet! these kooky trucks are awesome, really smooth and responsive. you can turn nice and precisely, and hold that turn without any twitchyness.

the deck feels great! i will make the next ones slightly wider, only about 10mm overall, but is still great as it is at the moment. i like the feel of it a bit shorter than the original, as the original felt a little too large, and i felt "lost" in its size.

The speed vents are a very nice wheel. First run they were a little less grippy that i thought they would be, but the more i used them and took the sheen off they felt alot better. will see how they go with some more riding.

heres a pic from cootha the missus took for me :D

good to hear u have got some riding time in lately ash. i rode my seismics on "Eagle" road yesterday and it was very wet. had no problems with lack of grip. having said that, the only other wheels i use on the evo are the 76mm 81a flys, which are damn hard cos of the lack of thane. so anything softer in a slalom shape wheel is always going to feel super grippy to me.
yeah man, im so glad i can ride again. i have lost all my stamina though, i really need to get training to build it back up. its amazing how quick it dissapears.

had a "fun" little incident on cootha though. was coming down the top section of the hill, and in the early morning there is alot of patchy light on the road coming through the trees. there was a stick that was about 20mm in diameter that tapered off towards one end that wedged itself between my truck and the road and kept skipping along with me down the road. i tried everything to get rid of it, but it stayed there, so i tried to footbreak to a stop, and it slid a bit further under the truck, wedging one side up and i had to bail at about 60 coming up to that corner in the pic. times like these im so glad i had leathers, tore up the right knee which sucks, so ill have to try and get it back together.
ash, that sucks....
