danny way, land speed record?

Have you guys seen this, its kinda lame given where downhill is at

I don't know whether riding an oversized pool deck while permanently strapped to a car really counts. Does he or his crazy scientist friend know that speed boarding exists already and the equipment has already been designed. It looked like he was riding a bunnings board with indy 169s

I'm kinda surprised that Danny Way has no knowledge of modern downhill, but that's about the only conclusion I can reach after watching this. His whole approach was ridiculous and a bit embarrassing for such a well-regarded skater.

For the record, 74mph is 118km/h, but it really doesn't mean much does it!

dude people in Teutonia were hitting 130k's this year... Daula is the 'unoficial' fastest man on a skateboard... Danny Way can go suck eggs that shit is just gay... theres many people who can go faster than 74mph on a skateboard using just gravity, and most of them dont even race! hell Chiara Pocente has been over 120k's and shes a girl!

Ha ha ha what a knob jockey i saw this on the dc site and was like "is this a joke?"

Who says you need an airstrip? Some do this on a sunday arvo after a few courage cans im guessing!

guiness world records were at Teutonia last year but they misfired their equpiment 6 times. Tom estrand was booking it at like over 126k's per hour... He was too fast for them.
This year they didnt have Guiness but they had speed traps or radars or whatever to record thte speed that Daula got...
Guinness world records is a different circus, they have to be there and use their own equipment to record it
