u know what, thats not a bad idea...
Lesson, I learnt YEARS ago, NEVER trust reporters however nice and fluffy they appear,
eg, David Richardson, Brett Mason,TT, ACA to name a few,
Avoid em like leppers !!!!! till an OFFICIAL event is coming up.
We know we are legitamite atheletes, and remember these guys ARN'T downhillers and are ONLY thinking about selling newspapers and TV ratings, and gettin a promotion or pay check at the end of the week.
We are awesome fodder for their careers.
What we do is set to SELL every time, as for doin it in the burbs, well I cant throw stones if I live in a glass house, but to make it a race is pushin things a little
the funny thing is even with all this bad publicity , there is gonna be a bunch of street skaters thinking how sick that downhill scene looks and buying longboards and dh gear over the next couple of weeks for sure....
If I had not started to illegally bomb hills almost a decade ago, if I had not heard of illegal freeride sessions on calm, safe roads, I would not have met most of the people from all the different countries in the world and I would not have been able to have such a great time in downunder with you guys on ASRA. ASRA was my link to you, whether illegal events are being organized on this forum or not, it still connects people do and share their mutual passion!

Thanks Jeremy for your great hospitality!

Thanks Steve for advertising Oz to me last summer at Almabtrieb!

Thanks Jackson for showing me around your little corner of the world!

Thanks Anton for driving down and up the east coast 1000km each!

Thanks to the entire Oz crew, ASRA and everybody being so awesome and stoked on skating - now come to Switzerland for a BBQ and BEER! (does include outlaw race)

Yeah, sorry bout that incident, I haven't done much stuff where there's skaters so close and stuff - I got squished in and my wheel hooked onto someone else, I guess I should of done that glove clapping thing to warn him, though I don't know what he could of done except be more prepared in his bail.
Anyways, apart from that, Friday Night was amazing.
Oh and it was 28 skaters for most of the time, though there were 4 more they were only there at central and before all the GC guys got there.

hey all, Here is my reply. Note i just typed up around 300 or so worlds and lost them with computer misuse. Friday night good session had lots of new crew and all up around 25 skaters showed, many on the new crew frothing over the outlaw, Police issue's there Once Lance and myself mostly Lance stepped up and said we were supervising everyone and we were causing no harm or trouble they were sweet, Next car park security issues but the sickest spirel. Next one another 9 levels of fun everyone was having a blast and generally skating Safe, here i will add Isaac be careful of others wheels. Then we were off back to the cars walking up the last hill back n contemplating a last street bomb a paddy wagon with 5 cops block the footpath in front of us and storm out surrounding us not really but doing there best. They were going to issue tickets for a report we skate through the mall a council offence but they weren't the council so they gave us the $30 warning took all our names and went on our merry ways and preperation for the saturday race. Race day Mum n Dad prept the sausages and i got myself n Jaxon ready the other jackson was foaming to skate the hill so i got him to organize the draw and rego Cheers bro you kill it. Practise time and time to check out the new crew, everyone killed it Lance and Josh mate real cool father and son killing the hill and all the others under 18 good job boys done yourselfs proud. Race draw first heats were about to be called then the rain and the cops showed to put a damper on the day. Decision time pull the pin or race and cop a fine i then put the question to all and the race was on weather dependent course check a select few were sent.Jackson N Leeso crashed so the race was canned at Tierney and a session at 2b2's or Slide at tolga were the options and there were some going to both. I cleaned the snags packed up and headed to 2b2's wher everyone was ripping the corners with rain coming down heavy but with Ramon Switz Dennis Norway Tony(jonathan) Hawk (Sebastian) Swed and the Germans and all the Aussies team bar Yatesy it was on wet corners of free ride, a lesson in skating for all Beers and pizza followed andthe crew headed for surfers with kev hosting. MESSY I HEARD Ramon says he was peaceful. more later on sunday and the press invovlement one last thing til tomorow sorry if i have cause any one any harm. Dave i know you don't like me but fair go hey i'm not causing yoour downfall am i??

take a tip from the politicians when they get asked a tricky question - ignore it and answer the question that you would have preferred to have been asked:
Q: Could you have killed someone?
A: We're all training really hard for this year's world tour - the sport is really taking off all around the world and the Aussies have a great chance of bringing home the world championship in 2009!

This is really great advice, and anyone at risk of being interviewed, by Journo's or cops (ie all of us!) should try to adopt this approach. I think it is called "staying on message". I am going to commit that response to memory because you just don't know when it will come in handy.
Can I suggest a sticker for the bottom of our decks with a standard "We're all training really hard for this year's world tour" message, imagine what it will be like for journo's when we all come out with the same response.

Jezza, you must have exercised incredible restraint!
mhm he handled himeself well in that interview which im sure he had no chance to prepare for
hats off to jezz

so gay. last time the media gets involved i say... you tell them one thing and they say there own. what you expect is a exactly what has happened. it doesnt even come across as a sport, it's like some sort of "craze" that wont last. ah well back to the yo yo for me. that was way better anyway's
who knows... I was fishing on the weekend...? whats all the who ha about?
couldn't resist the reply option to the bulletin

Get real you mrs mangles... i saw three old people fighting today at Rhodes IKEA because they couldn't get their trollys into the lift.Normal life these days is far more dangerous than DH skatboarding, I'm sure the red tape to get permission is 20 meters thick, pity the skaters can't afford the bribes needed to get things passed these days, go swim in the flags with the sharks. its a pity only a drive bye could make you's understand. So sick of all the idiots out there. Get realPaulSydney

Guys act like Rock Stars- any publicity is good publicity
and Rock on

they tried banning cars and booze once......

with 347 members why don't we all put in $5 a month, half goes to ASRA to promote the sport and half goes into a pool to pay everyones fines! sort ov like the metermaids

Rember this is a nice little family lets start acting like it, lifes to short
luv and fast wheels for all
The media are running with this big time.Watching "sunnrise"(sydney morning show) and there it is ,whats in the news section and there is the Outlaw race and the discussuion was should we allow this or should we ban it. Luckily the vision they where using was in the wet and slow .This worked in our advantage and the morning crew played it down and it looked safe. Bad news is the police commisioner has got wind of this which can turn ugly.I cant believe that you invited the media along,Vanity or stupidity what ever its called ,next time fellas dont invite a cat when the mice are out to play he will just play with you for a bit then eat you alive.
