Gear failure thread...
- abused wheels...
-melty bearings
-broken boards
-trucks bent/broken etc...
-cracked helmets
-leathers that don't quite cover you up anymore....
i wanna see them.
i'll try and find pics soon of some of the gear the tassie crews have killed...
but i distinctly remember:
-practically cutting a coral coloured hawaii K in half during a slide...epic flatspot...
-was it steve that damaged my GK thunderbirds?
-steve's melted wheels (you know the ones...)
-some minicubics that didn't last 2 slides.....can we get some photo's of those?
i know broken gear is out there....but where?

i had a kingpin snap on me mid ride, and i broke my scafoid as a result..
i now ride my kingpins the right way up ...

True, Venom Shocker......100km/h run on buttboard...did 2 runs with the wheel like that, end of 2nd run you could push your finger into theblowout, and it was really really soft and very hot, couldnt keep finger there for too long even with gloves on....

I always flip them the right way up, makes no sense to have it the other way... just more time consumed when changing bushings... The new Bear Hybrids have the kingpin in the other way and I'm not sure if you are even able to flip them!
