I HAVE searched about fooybreak soles and i haven't seen this come up.

After destroying my third or fourth pair of vans i went down to clark rubber and did what someone on here said and bought some 6mm rubber to stick on. (can't remeber name but it was the recoomended one.)
anyway, it was slow wearing enough but the surface texture was super smooth. Like almost slippery smooth. And it gave me almost no grip.
I didn't glue it very well and it came off after a week or so anyway.

But my question was, do any of the production footbreak soles (hopkin and stuff) come with grip? or atleast a vaguely grippy surface? rather than rubber type stuff.

I found my back foot just flying out when i tried to hold out standups and stuff.

Cheers.

go to a motorclycle repair shop ask for an old tyre that their throwing out and make your own. glue'em on with shoe goo or Sika high movement substraight silicone sealant, its about $20 a tube from most building supply centres.

like speedy canuck said u can get an old tire and cut a bit off but could use selleys liquid nails works with slide gloves so it should be good with them

Ok i might try that if the hopkin one doesn't come grippy.
with the clarck rubber before glueing it on i took a sharp knife and cut deep lines and patterns actually worked will for grip do on both sides helped in glueing as well, also daddow is selling tire cuts for $25 each he said he may do them for 40 for two

That's a good price.  The clark rubber stuff aint that great I found.  Get some car tyre under your feet and you won't look back.

Alternatively, get some recycled rubber on your shoes, wears fast but grips in the wet.

or if ur reaalllyyyy keen for andventure just jump off hahahahhha XD just joking yer i herd car tyre was the best too.

Haha, car tyre takes ages to wear through and, on road without rocks and crap on it, grips like a beast!

yeah 40 bucks pre cheap i rekon!

not break

Thankyou.

the clark rubber ones are shit! me and my two mates got some, we bought it all together for 35 bucks for the 3 of us, and was dead after 2 weeks, and does not grip, it makes no sence, dont buy it, waste of money, better on getting a tyre and doing it yourself, the clark rubber stuff wears extremely fast and just slides along the ground.
no matter what footbreak soles  you get, they will all loose the majority of their grip just because youre wearing them down each time you footbreak. footbreak less slide more
