indy style for DH

so i plan to buy a set of wide indy style trucks for DH and freeriding. which do you guys reckon would be the best value and/or ride the best? also which would be the strongest?

indy 215s
10'' gullwing missions
tracker darts 219s

im not so much worried about stability coz i can just de-wedge the rear. also, post if you know of any really wide indystyle trucks, i was only going off the hopkin stock.

Standard trucks feel good to some people. They usually only perform well for DH with some modification, be it bushings and/or wedging. They respond to rider input quicker then after the quick initial turn they kind of respond slowly if at all. RKP trucks are much more linear in their response from rider input. Both are good, they just do their goodness differently. Anyone else feel free to elaborate

I rode indy 215s for a while and they were really sick

epoxy a longer kingpin in, whack in some venoms, and your good to go

very different feeling though...

standard skate trucks have the axle infront of the Kingpin. This is an inherenltly unstable design. but it is the most responsive way of going about it. Ultimatly, you want your skateboard to respond to your slightest movement, nay even thoughts, thus requring less effort from the sack of flesh you call your body.

RKP trucks as we call them, have the axle behing the kingpin, this is an inherantly stable design, and thus very good for going fast.

The rest is up to personal taste
