like the guys said. Leathers

From my experiance you should avoid leathers with external (exposed) stitching.

With extermal stitching in alot of cheeper leathers after a small slide on the road the leather holds up fine but the stitching rubs through causing the seams to seperate real easily.

get ones with the seams rolled over and sawn internaly. worth the extra wait or money in my oppinion.

Mate your already attached to your hide,  IMHO get some leather's, Some 30 years ago I went sliding down the road on my newly acquired road bike, comin' home from work when some dick with fogged up windows and no indicator thought he'd try my reflexes out................... well you get the picture.  There are 2 places I simply cannot stand hide off, my hands and my arse, I can still remember the burning sensation and the weeks of stiffness that followed as the skin grew back.

I learned the hard way so that I may prevent it from happening to you. .

As Dave M said Internal stitched Leather's are good as far as longevity goes BUT will cost you a LOT ,

IMHO Bang for Buck the Leather's from "Storm" are tough and expendable!!
