yeah my friend paid $360 with s8's and kryptonics
i paid $430 only because i got all the best upgrades like bones swiss bearing and stimulus so u would be looking at 360 with the minimal stuff
bearings dont matter

No they dont. They dont make you faster. They dont make you accelerate. Its all the skill of the rider. Ceramics are good because you dont need to clean them as often and they self lubricate. The balls are slightly lighter, but this doesnt make a difference for the speeds most skateboarders reach.

They are made of higher quality materials, they can potentially last longer. They do roll smoother, they are more resistant to rust but you still have to lubricate them...

If he wants nice bearings, whats the problem?
