Why do people buy Carbon-Optic paragliding helmet?

I mean the normal one should work fine. What are advantages of Carbon-Optic helmet?

the texture is not actually carbon, its just "carbon look"
it means just look like carbon. But they are not made of carbon?

I guess I was misunderstanding about them. I though they are made of carbon. So it is just the look right?

as far as i am aware they are the exact same construction, fibreglass and aramid fibre (kevlar) reinforced, the other models are just paided a solid colour, wheras the "carbon" ones have a carbon look finish.

the texalium finish icaros on the other hand (the silvery twill weave ones) are made from texalium, which looks kinda cool, but is just fibreglass with an aluminium coating.
