Bell Drop

I have looked around and because they dollars so high i thought because Im getting into downhill i needed a full face helmet for pretty much any race, and i have searched' helmets' and looked on most posts and i have a few questions:

would this be good enough even though its an 08 model?

and if i filled up the gaps and repainted it would i fill up the ventilation holes on the side and front? and will this pass aus standards, and even though it dosent say a weight i think i saw an 09 model that weighed 1068g so it might be abit heavier, is that too heavy?

At current exchange rate it worked out at ~$155 delivered but the shipping time is crazy good (from England). Ordered on a Thursday, had it by Monday.

 

Damn thing's so light and comfy I just want to wear it all the time - skating, cooking, sleeping. The wife complains a bit, but hey....

Measure your head and match it to their sizing ranges. Look them up.

I dont know which one yet, right now the bell because the colours are cool, but hopkin might stock it hopefully
