ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Sydney downhill does not exist. No one skates down mountain roads. Everyone here sticks to the suburbs and local bombs. There are no good downhill runs in sydney. Everything is flat.

Please do not ask where to go skateboarding, because we dont know. We dont actually skate in sydney, we all ride scooters...

we checked this rd out today. the main dam rd is ups and downs and rough concrete.. the hairpins are a little rough with super rough patches..... however it is behind a gate that is no entry $11,000 fine....

has anyone skated this road before?

View Larger Map even the dam rd itself i could see in the distance on the weekend and looked pretty hilly.
Is it Skate-a-bull?

looks rad but super rough.

I thought it was all concrete? Or is this bit all seperate to the concrete?

yeah the hairpin bit is separate, it would be skateable but you'd prob go thru a set of wheels on each run... plus the $11k fine if you are caught on that rd.
bummer it has potential, about 6 hairpins and super steep..
its rough and shit, your missing nothing,..i tried to ride a similar road a couple weeks ago,..sik hairpins but when its chatter rough gnar it aint fun!got the wheels to break and slide but the hookup was unpredictable and had my puck ripped off a couple of times .....not to mention ripping chunks out of my wheels...it was a matter of time till i was gunna get cheese grated by it and lose serious skin....

First offence would'nt be 11k unless you were pissing down the hill into the dam n throwing rubbish around, last time I was caught in waterboard property on my mountainbike there was a less than friendly warning, but no fine. I heard now on first offence they take a mug shot of you on site & keep it on record, sooooo maybe skate it once for the experience??? just a horrible tease really eh. thankx Trav now we're all droolin' ....
