hey guys
I got 2 flat spots in my little abec11 freerides.
Anyone got a lathe I could send my wheels to for a lathing?
All 4 lathed down to equal sizes.
generous compensation will be provided.

FLATSPOT REMOVAL.
Im in buisness of repairing your wheels, cored wheels work the best so far in trials, drop me a line, no matter what the brand, yes Coretech Photons depending on how deep, or flat patch will be checked to see what I can do. 98a and above are the prefered hardness to machine at this point in time (but in the future there will be more options).
$15 a set plus postage, bulk repairs will be a cheaper option.

kinda narrows down the options with 98a and above.
My option is to use a belt sander at 45deg across the contact patch.
You don't even need to take your wheels off your trucks although it helps to have the hardest bushes you've got cranked down really hard to keep everything solid and stable. Clamp your board down to a table top aswell.
45 deg means it's half turning your wheel half sanding it off.

Have mandrel made, just gotta sort out a cutting tool when I get back to work next week, (only worked 2 days this week, fuck it went quick)
so if you have some flat spotted, coned, or ovaled wheels start saving them guys cause I will be good to go very shortly.
this may actually be good for race preping wheels that have been worn in, I will see how the results are before I make any claims though.

I tried the belt sander with p40 grit i think, didn't do nothing.

will be trialing my new diamond coated carbide tool in a set of old freeboards and kryptos tomorrow guys.
