why don't you ask the dudes who make it?
or this would work just as good?
they're fairly stiff.... We have the prototype version which is basically the exact same. Only a small amount. Feels sick underneath you
okay cheers
hooray, another pointless thread added to the collection. now when someone makes a legit thread for that board, its going to make searching a bit more difficult. yippee.
stop bitching. he wanted to know if it was flexy. it doesnt say in the hopkin product description. it isnt a mainstream board he can google the answer to. he asked on a forum of people who were likely to know.

how is he meant to know who makes it?
not everyone knows that glyde have a thread on here, or even know the names of the people who make glyde. so yeah. it was a legit thread.

think what annoys Leigh, myself and most of the older guys on here (whomever is now left) is that ZERO research is done before creating another thread.
the answer to this question could have been done with a 2 min phone call to the hopshop or even an email to the hopshop.. or heck, use of the search function for Glyde and BAM! a Glyde thread to ask questions about a Gylde board.

might be a generation gap, but I'd never backchat to someone that could kick my ass in a skateboard race on a skateboard racing forum either....

because Jack its one basic question with one basic answer that doesn't need to be its own discussion. when i clicked on it I was expecting to see a discussion about the boards details and how good it was etc etc.
so lets turn it into that. lets make this the legit Glyde Praxis thread.

yo Josh instead of having the flex question at the top, have it say something broad like "Glyde Praxis... discuss".
now that will cover many things about the board and benefit everyone.
sorry if i sounded like an ass.
ringing the shop would cost money, and they might have to go check or get back to you or any other stuff. and why dont you try using the search function for glyde, the glyde thread wont appear in the first 10 pages atleast. and yes it probably is a generation gap, but you guys are so hypocritical.

"lets wear helmets, we want to make the scene look good, be nice to locals, be friendly to police"
all that stuff, which is good, but then you get someone who is actually showing an interest in your sport, and furthermore, an australian company, enough so that he has researched boards and decided on one, and he asks one question. and the response he gets is a bunch of guys who are meant to be the leaders in the sport telling him hes an idiot for not ringing a shop or googling it or any other bunch of crap. if you want to have a good image, be nice to the people showing an interest first and then the people having a go at you.

and yeah i shuoldnt be back chatting leigh because he obviously is a better skater and all but there definitely is a generation gap. you guys need to realise this is the internet, different rules apply, noone is face to face so everyone will act different. We might need to adjust and show more respect, but you need to adjust and realise that in this age, this is how people go about doing things

P.S. just saw your reply leigh. yeah yeah i know you guys do heaps for the sport and your all good, and sorry if i had a go at you and whatnot.
and while on the glyde praxis thread theme:

is this board a dilligaf with a graphic or a new design?
sik board, the boys in the hopshop be happy to talk and let u kno all the specs,,,if they still have them!.....not much flex.
its the dropthru your talkin bout isnt it.
haha my bad i didnt think it through, just trying to say something about the board

Your joking right?

the praxis is designed and made by Steve Daddow, if you would like the specs shoot him a message, I pulled the glyde thread off asra as i got sick of saying no or busting a gut to be dicked by non paying, can't follow through groms. everyone wants something for nothing.
unfortunately the dilli mold got damaged beyond repair the other molds are still good but i have little time at present to do anything but am slowly getting my shit together, steve is it seems keeping the glyde flame burning with his two boards, there is also little incentive due to the lack of support from the groms caught up in the rayne landy send our bucks overseas craze etc etc that has always afflicted the aussie skate scene from park, bowl through to downhill for decades.
why does ommni who has been making boards since i was a kid (25 years +) get his product made overseas now ?
We will be back soon with a website and boards available in quantity, bamboo again too but not pushed here through asra, as it seems skaters all over the world are more keen to back us and buy and ride our boards than the locals.
we cant continue to contribute to the local scene and riders if the scene wont contribute to us.
rant over.
Pete.
