Hey guys and gals!
Well today was my last day of skating in Australia, for now anywho. I have one more day in Aus to organise some stuff and then I am off to Europe on Tuesday. I dont know how long I will be gone for but at this stage I am looking at a year or more.
Just wanted to let you all know how much skateboarding has really enriched my life over the last 3 years or so. Thanks to all the SA crew and the guys behind ASRA. I feel that ''spread the stoke'' has become kind of an obvious thing to say but it has so much meaning. The guys in South Aus. are incredible riders and some of the nicest folks you will ever meet and the guys behind ASRA have given me the opportunity to travel to some parts of Aus and meet people that I would maybe never have seen or met otherwise. Hopkin, A-drain, Kooky and Nick Duff for selling and providing me with loads of gear (I now have to pay $380 freight to get it all to Europe). I have met an incredible group of people from all around the country and what makes that even more fantastic is the diversity of the people I have met. I have had the opportunity to travel to other countries and skate with some great guys and gals from all over the globe and none of it would ever have happened if it were not for these people. I am truly addicted to skating!
A big shout out to Leeso, Jacko and Yates. My trip to Vancouver watching all of you skate has been a big part of my decision to move and travel Europe to skate. The three of you are what I aspire to be in a skater. Kind, hard working and down to earth guys who want nothing more than have a laugh and share it with others. Thanks for all the help over the last year and a bit.
I hope that this year will be a big one for Australian downhill skating. A huge amount of great riders, great ideas and great product coming out of this country and I hope we can all share it around the world this year.
Thanks again to all of you. Keep riding, ride safe! Skate or Die!!!!
