the faster you wear them down the more fun you'll have had.
I have a set of durians. And i use then for the exact same purpose. sliding and dh. i weigh about the same as u and i have been riding them hard almost continuously for at least 4 months, i coned them 3 or 4 times. The good thing about them is once u rotate them they are unconed after a hard days riding. I still got alot of skating left in them and they are getting quieter. Also wen i slide them at speed my gloves are much louder than the durians.
I LOVE THEM!!
You're the one with the S9 bamboos right? They should slide really well if broken in. Try going a bit faster; it may be scary, but you feel in control and they should slide pretty quickly.

From what I have heard, Retro Freerides are better at high speeds than low speeds, so maybe Otang freerides are better for you with that considered. Though...the yellow ones look so intense on Hellcats.

coz they slide so slowly and bite at the end of the slide plus i want a new board and im trying to decide wich wheels to put on it

Then why do you need Durians if you have broken them in?
They slide really well but they are screechy and I have no control over the slide so I either manage to hold it sideways and then the wheels bite into the road and I go over or I go straight into a 180 and can't haul it back. dude!!! I can't even bring a coleman back from 90 degrees to straight it's either 180 or shut down and get flicked over the board. Soz bout the long post:)

That's if u can pendie and you have hills I'm on flat ground with a slope that barely allows you to roll without pushing

it only takes 3 or 4 decent pendies to break in a set of wheels mate. leeso said:
dont bag the gumballs we rode em for years..

gumballs were great, until newer better wheels became available (ie bigzigs right through to the freerides). i tried my old gumballs a few weeks ago after slashing around on my durians and i nearly vomited. they seem to do tiny hops through the entire slide. wheel design has come a long way since then.
Awsome. How many runs do you do b4 rotating?

well if thats the case then your durians are gonna last you a very long time.
have you looked into the stimulus. they might suit you a bit better cos they slide out a lot easier on slower stuff than the durians do.
Movin to warrnambool soon so there is hills galore down there and might need some more grip

Your problem is probably that you can't get enough speed. It is VERY hard to do a pendy on completely flat ground. You need slope for speed, and to continue the slide.

Is Warrnambool in northern Vic?
dude just buy durians u wont regret it there a sick wheel end of story, with the 86A wheels u can do stand up slides going up hill plenty of slide in em and they will last u ages
Im not sure but its on the coast

haha he has rotated them like twice... the wheels on the right side of the board are about 3mm smaller than the left... they just dont seem to cone far if you do slides in both directions just make sure the wheels are all about the same size... and my yellow ones flatspotted learning fast predrifts :( my avenger sounds like a 4 wheel drive when i'm bombing on my stims
