U GUYS KNOW IF THIS BOARD CAN SLIDE GOOD?LOOKS SICK I USED TO HAVE A SECTOR 9 COSMIC RIDER AND LOVED THE FLEX BUT AM LOOKING FOR A NEW RIDE TO LEARN SLIDE AND TO DO SOME CARVIN AND BIT OF BOMBING ON ANY IDEAS???VERDISH?VANGUARD?HUSTLER?IM TEARIN MI HAIR OUT CANT DECIDE!

THE DERVISH IS PROBABLY BETTER FOR SLIDING AS IT IS A DROP THRU BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND ALTHOUGH THE VANGUARD IS MORE FUN WHILE CARVING, I RECOMMEND THE DERVISH, AS IT IS A GREAT BEGGINER BOARD AND IT IS AN EXCELLENT ALL ROUND BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive ridden a dervish and although it is a nice board i felt un safe on it especially bombing a hill but it is really good for sliding and carving around and fun just to muck around on.

Dervish IS unstable at speed. But i have seen my mate do some crazy shit on his flex 1, including goin through a roundabout at bout 70 km/h. I was not too keen on the dervish either, it is a sick board to do stand up slides on but wen u grab rail the tables turn.
Alan it all depends on wat sort of riding u will be doin, if u will be doin some dancing and stand up slides get the dervish. But if you are looking for a board that you can pendy at the bottom of a hill and not be AS bounced around get the Hustler. But be warned it still has a fair bit of flex

I found that the dervish is very unstable at fast speed, but from the loaded videos they go pretty fast on them. Anyway thats my opinion.
