Melbourne Slopestyle Jam
Still in the fairly early stages of planning it but i am thinking we need to get some advise outside the melburn sessions group, this is the way we are looking at running it.
Date: 20th of March 2010
Location Chirnside Park (the steeper of the two runs)
Format: Jam session peer judged (everyone gives 6 points out, divided 3, 2, 1, person with the most points is the winner etc) and then awards for Gnarliest trick and techiest trick, Hard wheel and soft wheel running together.
Back up locations: Dimond creek housing estate, Edgewater housing estate, Pipemakers park entry run, Newmarket housing estate (slide hill)
Just seeing what people think we should change etc, we are looking for some sort of sponsorship so we can give out some sort of prizes to the guys who place and it would be great if it wasn't just the Melbourne guys who are skating in it.

still looking for feed back and interest in the event, if people are keen to have it happen then we will make it happen, if people are not then we wont

dude,i cant speak for everyone but im sure a lot of people including myself are totally starting to focus on bathurst and all that it takes to get organized to get there.,last thing im thinkin about is the next event,im sure if you bring this up in a month people will be all over it,amping for the next event and you'll get a lot more input....goodluck dude

cheers benbro, its been tossed around for a while and this has had a discussion in the melbourne sessions group for ages, i will definently be bringing it up again after newtons and be talking with guys at newtons to see what they reckon the go is, but i really want it to happen in some way
