waterproof bearings
i read about some bones swiss ceramic bearings , said they were water proof , can anyone vouch for that ? cheers

maybe water resistant but not like a watch is water resistant the metal rings will still corrode its just that ceramic being ceramic means the ball don't rust.

You can pretty much waterproof any bearing by filling it with a good grease (it will resist the incursion of water) but the only truely waterproof bearings would be 100% ceramic and they are megabucks!!!!!

not to mention that fully ceramic bearings are brittle and can shatter
