I've never actually been to dandy yet just got into dh recently. But a friend has and I think you can easily go past 60 km/h. Definitely gonna head there next week during the break
hey stephen...so me and gilbert went around the bike shops in the city today and no luck at all. closest we got was a pathetic looking bell helmet and it was buried in the back of all the display units.
but we ended up going into one of the motorbike stores on elizabeth street and got ourselves a KBC dirtbike helmet. Mine's pretty light i think it's definitely less than 1200 g. for a bargain!! 69 dollars!!
Hi Steve,
What do u think your seismics are worth? Are they in good nick?
Are u interested in some 53mm popsicle wheels, i've got 2 sets of
World Ind, 1 yellow, 1 red, and a set of blue/white marble dura rollers (almost).
Wayne.
hey! im already grabbing a pair for wayne tonight. we're meeting at flinders garage for a skate tonight so if you're free you can just grab them off him tonight. otherwise, im thinking of just getting a few pairs and passing them to whoevers interested.
text me: 0431156163 (my phone is actign up so i cant hear anything when people call in)
Not in Oz (yet. I want to so bad). Just here to get away from the stupidity of S'Fish. The coolest guys I ever met on the Fish are from Australia! I'm moving to Okinawa, Japan in April, so maybe the tickets will be cheaper to fly over from there. Hope to skate with you!
when I was bringing the Landy stuff alone I was retailing Evo's for $250. However this time I am being forced to bring them in with the Australian distributor and I have no idea how much she is going to charge me for "handling" nor how much the Govt is going to charge me for duties, Taxes, etc.
I am hoping I will still be able to do them for $250 but it more likely to be closer to $300.
hey mate, sorry it took a while to get back to ya (i forgot!) haha
At the moment, the price is kind of up in the air. Pete and i have come up with a stronger, thinner and lighter layup, incorporating bamboo, maple, fibreglass and carbon, and turned out a prototype that is working fantastically. we are going to be finishing the boards that we currently have on order, then will be costing these new boards. Were steering away from the custom thing, and will be making batches of boards to sell. I will post up some photo's of the new construction once it is finished nicely.
